"Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us; a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God." -Ephesians 5:1-2
Phew. What a busy weekend! I went home for the weekend (1st of 3 weekends in a row) for my beautiful sister's wedding shower. It's so crazy how close the wedding is. 5 weeks to go :) Next weekend is the bachelorette party, so I'm looking forward to that, too! My weekend was also spent watching hockey, as my team's in the national playoffs! Go Gophers! I hope you all had a great weekend :) Here are some pictures from the wedding shower.
So, this song is really, really, really good. I'm doing homework, but I wanted to share this beautiful song with all of you! The message in it is from God to you. He's always there. Always.
"I'm forever yours, faithfully."
Enjoy the song, and never forget who's child you are.
Okay, so I don't know about you guys, but I keep checking my calendar to make sure we're in the right month. How the heck is it 80 degrees in March?! I'm confused, but nevertheless I'm LOVING it! Today, I went on a walk with a friend, and wore shorts and sandals to class. Wooo! It's crazy to think that 3 weeks ago, I was in Florida enjoying the weather Minnesota is having now. How nice of the Floridian weather to follow us :) I feel like nice weather makes everyone's day more enjoyable, and it seems as if everyone's in a good mood! Praise God for beautiful weather :) I hope everyone has a good weekend, and don't forget to SMILE and enjoy this early summer we're having!
To make the mood ready to summer, I think it's time to crank up some Rascal Flatts. Because, let's face it, it's summer, baby! Love, Sarah Allison
So, I had a tough day the past two days. It's getting to that point in the semester when I have too much on my plate, and am stressing about trying to get everything done. I got some pretty lousy grades on two important exams, and, to tell you the truth, that caught me off guard and I had a really difficult time accepting the reality of the grades I got. But, I realized that I was being really pathetic. Why? Because that's how life goes. Life is not perfect. I am not perfect, and sometimes I think I can be. I don't know why I keep thinking this, though. I am well aware that no one is perfect except for Jesus Christ. Jesus has everything planned for me, and He loves no matter if I get a bad grade on an exam. He wants me to try my best, trust in Him, and live my life with as much love as He gives me. So, everyone, try your best in everything you do. But, please don't try to be perfect like I sometimes do. Being imperfect is so much sexier ;) Bring out your flaws, live you life, and don't forget to smile!
Enjoy this beautiful spring weather! Love, Sarah Allison
So, as I was doing homework today, a song came on the radio called "What Makes you Beautiful." I was intrigued by the beautiful melody, so I looked up the lyrics and realized how beautiful those were, too.
"Baby, you light up my world like nobody else...you don't know you're beautiful...that's what makes you beautiful."
I believe that every single person is beautiful in their own way. You light up our world, and we could not live without you. Do not think of yourself as just a person living in a world where nobody notices you, because that's not true at all. What makes you beautiful is the fact that you're living in this world today. To me, you're beautiful in every way.
Live your life, smile, and be beautiful :)
Have a good weekend! Love, Sarah Allison
